I'm so lucky.
I've been feeling kinda proud of my appearance on WFMU...

Re:Mixology, which no longer airs for now, hosted all sorts of AWESOME artists... from the amazing collage/sample artist Steinsky to new groovebox guttermouth Peaches. Wobbly/ECC/Irene Moon, Christian Marclay, Ted Shred, DJ OLIVE, Brain Science (fellow Snuggler), and most suprising of all....

Me!

To think, I had one full hour on Rolling Stone's best station in the nation 4 years running.
To think, I was granted the ability to be featured alongside these great artists.
To think, I played on the station I grew up listening to, the station that influenced me like no other.

The only way it could have gotten better is if I had met Irwin Chusid. (auld pal)

By the way, for those of you wondering, I'm not bragging, more like trying to cheer myself up. By focusing on what I have acomplished in the past it psyches me up for what the future holds. (I have this show in Cleveland to look forward to, and to prepare for.)

Had a talk with a lady who owns her own party planning service. (she's a Corporate party planner) This job is one I've always wanted. Basically you get paid to plan and throw parties. They give you a budget and let you go at it.

The party I met her at was a jewish wedding she had planned for a friend...

There were lots of VIPs there, mostly from RCA. and Kenny Chesney (some country dude, who cares)... but, we talked, I got her card and if our talk sounds good, I might start working for her. Get some professional party planning experience. Resume worthy. (a quick search of the web lets me know that as of August 8th of this year she was looking for interns... what about a job?)

Goodness. That's a good thought.

List of things to do:

Finish Pop Chop Track
Finish New Jerk Instrumental
Finish George W. Bleep
Make intros/Outros for RR4.0
Go to bed.

(I need to start aiming higher)

Oh, I almost forgot...
I'm REALLY lucky because I date Your Girlfriend.
