Well...now that I have access once again to my diary (Diaryland has been moving to a new server) I hardly know what to say.
Just came back from Recycled Rainbow 5.0
I really love that place. Yet I'm torn. I feel that I've been getting an unfair view of Cleveland. Yes you heard me right... UNFAIR!!!
Each time I go up, I realize how much I love the people up there and the culture and...
That's the problem, the culture isn't up there. It's flown and driven in for these events. (I think) Like minded people come to Recyled Rainbow, including people that I've talked to for years now. (online) So it's instantly accessible and intriging.
So what happens when I move up to cleveland and I find it to be the same as where I am now. Isolated form people who share my same ideals and beliefs. Kept from an intellectually stimulating crowd of peers due to the absence of them.
Well, at least Cleveland would get more shows in. Nashville & Murfreesboro get SQUAT! Hell Louisville and Atlanta soak up most of the major acts on either side of us. (and We're MUSIC CITY for Christs sake!!!)
Before I decide on which direction to hurl myself blindly, I think I should do some more traveling. I need to go to California, Hawaii, and Seattle.
I also need to go to work...
Later.
