Doing better today, got to sit at home and work on web projects that I've been neglecting.
Took Valorie to work and picked her up. Carved a pumpkin and ate reheated spaghetti. Now, you might think that reheated spaghetti is a bad think... Au Contrereererererererere (or whatever) My meat sauce (EM & DG wince) has a mystical appeal that grows stronger with age. Every day older it gets the more the flavors sink into the sauce. I'm talking Garlic, Onions, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Stewed Tomatoes, etc... (the whole 9 yards)
The highlight of my evening was making out on the porch with my teenager in front of a glowing pumpkin and all of the neighbors. (They weren't watching, but don't tell Valorie that, she's a bit of an exhibitionist.)
The weather was just right a slight chill in the air yet still comfortable, at least when you're close to a warm body. The scent of Fall lingering in the air was enough to make it memorable in itself. (definitely a moment I will remember for awhile)
All of this heavy petting would have led to a lengthy love making session had it not been for the fact that I have to take Your Girlfriend to the Vet tomorrow. And as any one with a vulva knows, you can't have sex within 72 hours of (or something like that) a check-up. (Hey, if I was an OBGYN, I wouldn't want to fish through semen either.)
She also has to get a refill of her Birth control. Orthotricyclin (i think). She's worried it's going to cost her an arm and a leg. (we'll work it out)
In the next couple of days we need to do a buncha-stuff. Round up a crew to go Haunted Housing, get costumes for Halloween, sign up for a twelve step program, collect money for rent and bills, etc...
Well, I'm going to bid you all adieu for now. I have to wake up at 6AM and drive Valorie to work (if it's raining), pick her up at 11AM and take her to Smyrna for the Vet appointment at 12:30, then make my way to Nashville for a MANDATORY wine tasting at the club I work in (Jack Daniels Old no. 7, in the Gaylord Entertainment Center).
Which means once again, I miss my radio show. (I need to change my time to something more reasonable)
I'll write soon I promise...
stay tuned.
