It's the friggin' 4th of July!!!
Whoo-Hoo!
Time to celebrate a land that I love(d). I mean, I still do... It's just not the land that it used to be. (IMHO) I watched JFK for the first time yesterday. It's one of those movies that open people's eyes... but for me it was just another excercise in learning more that I already knew.
To a certain extent, Andy Todd is right. The less you know the happier you are. I just can't do that because it's lemming mentality. All of us just living our lives without having any say as to where we are going. I'm one of the dissallusioned ones that still believe in Democracy. Power of the people, and all that malarky they taught us in school.
It just really sucks when you wake up and see exactly how much of a power struggle it is in the white house. How each branch of government has their own agenda and will pull the american people through hell just to make it "Their America."
Oh well, enough ranting. But before I go, tell John Ashcroft hi for me.
Valorie and I are going to her parents house tonight to watch her little brother blow his fingers off with M-80's. Matt, had nowhere to go tonight, so I invited him along (I'm sure Valorie's parents won't mind). I wonder what kinda food will be there. Hot-dogs, hamburgers, Steaks, Filet-mignon??? Probably not. It'll probably be BBQ Pork or something like that... (Matt'll be happy.)
Hooray!!!! Valorie says I'll probably get my turnip greens!!! Her grandma makes REALLY good turnip greens. Valorie thinks I'm sick and disgusting for eating the pork/onion flavored foiliage. But, that just means more for me!!!! (&Grandma&Phil)
I'm uploading part of my radio show for WFMU. It's huge something like 603Meg! It's taking forever. I'll still be performing partly live, I just wanted to show off some stuff I couldn't do live. I can't wait to go to NYC. It's hard being financially creative until we get there. I picked up a DJ gig at a friend's parents anniversary party. I NEED TO DOWNLOAD A BUNCH OF MUSIC!!! Did you hear me Ms./Mrs. Rosen??? I said DOWNLOAD!!!!!!Come arrest me.
Wouldn't that suck?? I ask for it and it happens?? under current law we all can be charged for 5 years of jail for EACH infringing work (I.E. each MP3) not including up to $150,000 per each...
Fucked up country we live in huh? Happy 4th
